Marketing Manager Early Life Nutrition

My choice for Danone was based on more than one reason. I've always worked as a Marketer, both in the Netherlands and abroad, but never with food products. When considering switching to this industry, Nutricia's baby food was on top of my list. A traditional Dutch company, focussing on more than just increasing profit. Of course, it's a commercial business but the way they make money, by offering unique products that contribute to the health of society, appealed to me greatly.

I can promote our company because I believe in our products.

Besides, I can control our marketing mix completely whereas at other companies you often get to develop only one aspect of it. For such a big multinational, I find it surprising to see how much decisions I can make locally. What also triggered me was the international working environment; within Danone you can easily switch between departments or even countries.

It was during my interview when I first heard about Danone's 'dual purpose': social and economic. Now I know for sure: they walk the talk. I am proud to be part of such a company.
