Benefits Manager Belgium

You will be part of the C&B team, reporting to the Head of C&B Benelux, responsible for overseeing the C&B processes for approximately 4.000 employees in Benelux. The C&B team is a team composed of 4 people located across Belgium and the Netherlands. This team is part of the Benelux Danone Business Service team and closely cooperates with the areas of International Mobility, Administration & Payroll, Talent, and Learning teams to contribute with their expertise to Danone businesses’ success in Benelux.
About the Job
As Benefits Manager for Belgium, you will work in close cooperation with the Head of C&B Benelux and the Benefits Manager in The Netherlands to ensure our benefits programs are competitive, aligned with the group HR strategy and the local business needs, and locally compliant.
You keep up to date with the Belgian legislation and market practice around benefits and compensation to employees and you work with all entities in Belgium ensuring consistency with Global reward for benefits topics accords all businesses in Belgium.
You work in close cooperation with the Benefits Managers in the Netherlands to ensure policies and ways of working are aligned, in all possible elements, in the Benelux region.
You ensure the right coordination with the relevant other Business Service Teams, especially Admin and Payroll team and International mobility team to ensure benefits in Belgium are properly managed.
As part of the reward team, you participate in various C&B projects included within the C&B Annual Plan.
On top of that, your key responsibilities are:
- Responsible for deploying and managing benefits policies, ensuring alignment with other HR streams, finance, and any other needed stakeholder;
- Ensure that all relevant supporting documents on any benefit policy are kept up to date and are shared with and known by our key stakeholders;
- Working toward increasing the level of communication of the benefits policies to the HR community and Danoners;
- Follow trends and developments in benefits offered in the market;
- Participate in harmonization projects across all Danone entities in Belgium and in Benelux if applicable, partnering with the Benefits Manager in the Netherlands;
- Cooperate closely with the fleet manager with respect to car policy and mobility solutions;
- Support the Benelux Compensation Manager in other C&B local or global projects or operations.
For this position, we're looking for someone with a relevant Bachelor or Master degree and 3-5 years of relevant HR working experience. In this role, you have strong analytical skills and ability to drive data-driven decision making; you are are able to connect and build trustful relations with different stakeholders at the local and global level.
Proficient in both written & spoken Dutch and French. Proficient in written & spoken English for communications with global Reward stakeholders. You work accurately, possess an eye for detail as well as feeling comfortable in a dynamic working environment that is subject to a high pace of change.
