Clinical Study Researcher

You will use your methodological and scientific expertise in different phases of a clinical study in humans ranging from the early phase of translating business needs in the right study design to writing the clinical study report and being involved in writing scientific publications.
As a Clinical Study (CS) Researcher, you will be a member of the Clinical Research Methodology Team of Janneke de Wilde for the therapeutic areas Frailty and Disease Related Malnutrition within the Specialized Nutrition Research Organization – Adult Innovation department. You will have a key role in designing the study, writing the protocol, developing statistical analysis plans, interpreting results and writing clinical study reports. You will work in close collaboration with Scientists, CS Managers, Data Managers and Statisticians, as well as other stakeholders within Danone Nutricia Research to ensure the right data is collected and the right analyses are performed. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team(s) and report to the Team Leader Adult Clinical Methodology.
About the Job
In this role you will provide scientific and methodological expertise in Clinical Research Projects in humans on frailty and disease related malnutrition. Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing methodological support during all phases of the clinical study
- Writing the study protocol
- Assess scientific feasibility of a study protocol and be involved in investigator selection
- Writing the scientific part of a Statistical Analysis Plan
- Interpretation of results, writing the clinical study report and contribute to scientific publications
- Safeguard the quality of the study
- Collaboration with science teams and clinical study teams
- Build and maintain internal and external network of Key Opinion Leaders, investigators, experts and other stakeholders
- Supervise third parties if activities are outsourced.
We are looking for a Clinical Study Researcher with:
- A Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences or related scientific discipline
- Experience in (international) clinical research
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical study methodology and statistics\
- (Medical) writing skills and/or familiar with medical terminology
In order to be successful in the role of CS Researcher you have excellent communication skills in English. You like to engage with multidisciplinary project teams within Danone Nutricia Research as well as with various internal and external stakeholders. Due to your great time management and organizational skills you are able to work on multiple clinical studies. You are passionate about connecting people to achieve high quality results. Next to this, you are pro-active and you are able to switch easily between different therapeutic areas. You get energized by working in a team and you like to work very precise and to solve complex challenges.
