About the Job

As Contract & Tender Management Intern, your mission will be to support the team with the proper execution of contracts and invoices within Danone’s division of Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition (AMN). This team, consisting of three colleagues, is part of the AMN Sales team, but you will also work closely together with finance, marketing and supply chain. This will give you a unique opportunity to see all corners. Your key role will be to bring order in chaos through your structured way of working on administrative tasks but also updating stakeholders about the status of all the invoices. For this, you will be given the degree of responsibility you deserve by having your own scope – but still have all the openness and freedom to ask questions to anyone in the team when necessary.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the team in the planning and execution of customers’ year-end discounts (calculations, registration in relevant files, administration tasks and archiving);
  • Perform checks of invoices sent by customers and ensure timely payments. This means keeping the overview of the status and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders (sales, financial administration, controlling colleagues), followed by proper archiving of the invoices;
  • Support development of new guidelines regarding customer projects & activities
  • Work closely with various internal stakeholders;
  • Attend related meetings.

About You

You are accurate, not afraid to reach out to colleagues and you like to work with numbers. A good administration makes sure you keep the overview and helps you in working detail oriented. If you are in need of additional information, you just pick up the phone and makes sure you call the people that you need. Eager to learn, pro-active, curious and not afraid to ask questions are characteristics that describe you. Coordinating the administrative process, planning, executing and analyzing payments is something that excites you!

There are also some hard requirements that you should meet:

  • You are enrolled as a HBO/WO student during the whole internship 
    (Please be aware that we don’t arrange work permits for non-EU students who do not study in NL);
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English – oral and written;
  • You are available to start in February 2019 for 5 months, full-time 5 days a week.
