About the Internship
You will be working within the Finance department as the Overhead Controller Intern part of a small team consisting of 3 other motivated colleagues who need your support on their day-to-day activities. As an intern, you will report to Anna – who is the Finance & Overhead Controller at Danone for our Cycles & Procurement division.
Within this internship, you will be challenged to perform at your highest level possible through working accurately and responsible for the cross-charge process for Danoners (our employees) from all our various business units or that are expats. Your biggest challenge will be to make sure that everything is done right at first attempt and to maintain an overview of all the different tasks.
More specifically, your tasks and responsibilities can be divided into the following:
- Creating of purchase orders and receipts;
- Invoice creation and handling;
- Maintenance of our database;
- Reporting of T&E.

We are looking for a Bachelor/Master student in Finance or any other relevant field with strong analytical and communication skills. You should have some prior knowledge of Excel and are not afraid to deal with basic accounting. Furthermore, you strive to work accurately and be detail-oriented as you will work with numbers. You are not afraid to work independently, but at the same time you like to work in teams. Also, you feel comfortable to work together with colleagues from different countries and cultures in a constant changing environment by being adaptable.
There are also some hard requirements that you should meet:
- You are enrolled as a student for the whole period of the internship, (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- You are available as of January 2019 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
- You are willing to travel or relocate to Schiphol (Amsterdam), NL.
