About the Job

You will be part of Danone’s Global First Diet team, which belongs to Danone’s Global Early Life Nutrition unit. First Diet covers a baby/toddler/young child's nutritional needs, ranging from a first spoon with fruits and vegetables all the way to meals, finger foods, snacks and liquid nutrition.


The First Diet team is “lean and mean”, consisting of several experienced, international FMCG professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are focused on finding new business opportunities in a high paced FMCG category through innovation and geographical growth. As part of the Danone Manifesto for a sustainable planet, we are committed to provide the healthiest nutritional solutions to as many kids as possible while accompanying parents to help them build life-long healthy eating habits for their children.

You will support us in growing our dynamic business by:

  • Understanding consumer insights across different geographies
  • Following trends & assessing the competitive landscapes (specifically concerning baby food category)
  • Creating compelling concepts
  • Interpreting research results & communicating them to the Business units

In addition to the above mentioned responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to support the team with relevant and current projects concerning trending topics within the baby good category.

About You

We are searching for a candidate that is passionate about marketing and business development, and you have the ability to see context and understand the bigger picture. You are creative, open-minded and curious to investigate new trends. You have strong communication skills in order to clearly and efficiently connect with stakeholders and confident to show your ideas and research results. Working in a fast changing environment with an entrepreneurial mindset gives you energy.

In addition, please make sure you meet the following requirements:

  • You are enrolled as a Masters student in the field of strategy, business, marketing, innovation or international development for the whole duration of the internship. (If you are a non-EU citizen, then you must be enrolled as a student at a Dutch university)
  • You are fluent in English – written and verbal
  • You are willing to relocate/travel to Hoofddorp, NL.
  • You are available as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days a week

We offer a monthly internship allowance plus reimbursement of home-work commuting cost in the Netherlands. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
