About the Job
We are looking for a Marketing Intern for the Global Marketing team for Specialized Nutrition. You will work in a highly international working environment as you support the different countries in different regions. You will work together with the local marketing teams and cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, medical, sales, R&D). You will be supervised by a Healthcare Strategy lead. This position is located in Danone Place Amsterdam, close to Amserdam, NL.
Medical nutrition is designed to improve the quality of life for patients. Our consumers include the frail and elderly, young children with special needs, and patients of all ages who are sick or in recovery. Your focus is the Adult category, which aims to improve nutritional care for adult patients.
What will you do?
- Support the team in a combination of wide-ranging administrative marketing tasks (Preparing presentations etc.)
- Support event management – ranging from internal to external meetings (trainings to exhibition booths at medical congresses)
- Managing and analyzing data to be used for presentation purposes
As it’s a dynamic environment you will also be asked to support in additional ad hoc projects and activities to drive business in the best way possible.
So, who are we looking for? Preferably a Master student in Business or Marketing with an interest for the world of Pharmaceutical products or nutrition. you have strong analytical skills in order to identify in-depth market insights, trends and growth opportunities. You are enthusiastic and eager to further develop your skills in this learning opportunity!
You like to take responsibility and ownership for your projects and you act agile and pragmatically. You have good (written) communication skills and you are able to present your findings in a concise manner. Furthermore, you show curiosity and you are able to easily connect with people. Powerpoint and Excel proficiency is necessary to succeed in this role.
There are also some hard requirements that you should consider:
- You are enrolled as a student during the whole duration of the internship
(if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
- You are fluent in English – oral and written;
- You can start from Mid-January for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days a week;
- You are able to work in Hoofddorp, Netherlands
