Packaging Development Intern
We are the Packaging Team of Danone Nutricia Research, a Research & Innovation centre of Danone based in Utrecht, NL. Our mission is to develop new product concepts for Early Life Nutrition’s business and formulas that provide health benefits to babies and their mums. More specific, our team is responsible for supporting the release of sustainable packaging for our products.

During the internship you will be focussing on sustainability within the packaging development. Within the sustainability program there are three key topics, i.e. recycling, renewable materials and eco design. Within your assignment you will be working on one, two or even all three topics, depending of the type of internship.
You are currently a master student in engineering with a special interest and focus on material science or packaging . An affinity and passion in sustainability and environment will be an advantage. You like the challenge of working in an international and dynamic environment. You can work independently and you have good communication skills. Being a team player, precision and pro activity match your personality.
In this internship you are expected to be pragmatic, flexible and enthusiastic. You are also expected to like to work on the lab and run your own project.
Next to this, there are a few hard requirements:
- Enrollment at the university for the entire duration of the internship;
- Fluency in English (both written and verbally) is a must, Dutch and/or French is an advantage;
- Availability from September for at least 6 months.
